The Real Estate School has specialized in real estate education in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for over 40 years. We are not a generic, one-size-fits-all, “national provider.” We are not one of the many broker-owned schools that popped up during the pandemic. We have over 40 years’ experience putting together an unsurpassed licensing program to help you pass the state exam and get hired by the best brokerage company to develop your career.

When you enroll in The Real Estate School’s New Jersey Real Estate Licensing Course, you can be confident that you’ll receive The Best Real Estate Education Available.

At The Real Estate School, We Set the Standard for Online Education:

Our Salesperson Licensing Courses are currently offered online, with a live instructor teaching the lessons and answering your questions in real time. You simply login to each webinar session from the comfort of home and let our expert instructors guide you through this complex material. You will see a live video feed of the instructor teaching, as well as diagrams & drawings on the “board,” fun video clips & web tours, custom handouts, and study guides to download for test preparation. We are famous for our memorable real-life stories and our phenomenal “putting-it-all-together” reviews.

There are always 2 licensed instructors in the virtual classroom so we can provide technical support and answer administrative questions without interrupting the flow of the presentation. We provide a hard copy of the textbook included in the tuition, so you can easily follow along during class and study outside of class without staring at a screen. Please note this is NOT a random order “make your own schedule” situation where you’ve got to figure out how to complete all the modules based on what’s available on what day. We are teaching you the course material in the correct order!

We offer the Salesperson Licensing Course in two formats: Daytime and Evening. The Daytime Course runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for two consecutive weeks. (There are morning and afternoon breaks, and a lunch break.) The Evening Courses runs 2-nights per week for approximately 10 weeks. You can choose either the Monday/ Wednesday evening class or the Tuesday/ Thursday evening class. Evening classes begin at 6:30pm and conclude by 9:45pm. We never cancel courses. Many schools do so always ask upfront! For eligibility requirements, please scroll to the bottom.

At The Real Estate School, you will get:

Full-time, expert instructors: Our teachers know how to keep you engaged. We use research-backed methods to help you learn better and recall important information on the exam and while you’re on the job. “Audit” a class session FREE to see for yourself. Having the right instructors makes all the difference. Click the red button below to Schedule Your Free Audit. Please audit ANY school you are considering attending before paying tuition!

99% Customer Satisfaction Rate: We’re not sure if it’s our expert instructors or our best-in-class webinar platform, or maybe the fact that we include everything you need to succeed in one competitive tuition rate, but our customers love our program! We are here for you every step of the way with multiple seasoned instructors and dedicated customer service representatives who are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

At The Real Estate School, you will NOT get:

NO “mix and match classes,” or “make your own schedule” here: Making your own schedule for completing the webinars may sound great, but most students struggle to learn the material when it’s taught out of order. In the “mix and match” format, students at very different stages of learning end up in class together. Some students are lost because they just got started, while other students who are much further along have to sit through constant interruptions while the instructor tries to get the newer students caught up. We teach the course material in the correct order, so you always have a great learning experience. The concepts fall into place logically, without frustration or repetition. We use checkpoints and cumulative reviews throughout the course to ensure you can retain the information, without hours and hours of endless studying. Random order courses can’t use cumulative reviews since students are taking the course in no particular order.

NO “Read-the-countless-words-on-the-page” here either: We don’t expect you to read the material and teach yourself, without an instructor to guide you, like many of our competitors who offer “on-demand” courses. We would never subject you to the “read- the-countless-words-on-the-page and constantly-slog-through-difficult-test-questions-to- proceed” type of experience. Most on-demand providers don’t even offer a hard copy of the textbook to follow along, so it’s not easy to score well enough on the exams to proceed to the next section. That’s why many on-demand programs have a 25 to 30% drop out rate. Don’t struggle alone trying to read 75-hours of material on a screen while teaching yourself the information. Our expert instructors make it easy, putting the information into context, telling memorable stories, and answering all your questions in real time. We even include the Exam Prep Package (free) to ensure you are ready for the state exam.

At The Real Estate School, your tuition includes:

An industry-leading textbook: We understand you don’t like hidden fees. That’s why our tuition INCLUDES a hard copy of Dearborn’s New Jersey textbook with free FedEx shipping to NJ, PA, NY, and DE. At many schools, the textbook is a $50 to $100 upgrade you must pay for in addition to your tuition. Some schools don’t even offer a hard copy textbook for studying, and purchasing their eBook is a costly upgrade.

Our comprehensive Exam Prep Package: Our tuition INCLUDES a comprehensive package to assist you in preparing for the State Exam. You will receive refresher study videos on all key topics as well as access to 500+ online practice questions. At many schools, the exam prep is a $75 to $99 upgrade you must pay in addition to your tuition. We include everything you need to succeed. There are NO HIDDEN FEES!

Multiple state licenses and college credits: Upon completion of our prelicensing course, you are eligible to sit for the NJ State Licensing Exam, the PA State Licensing Exam, or both, with NO ADDITIONAL COURSES required. (To add NY, you’ll need to complete an additional 2-hour course on Fair Housing.) Our course also provides 5 credits at Camden County College; the credits may be transferable to other institutions.

At The Real Estate School, we are here for you every step of the way:

Ongoing support from instructors and staff: Our dedicated team is here to help you navigate the licensing process from beginning to end. Upon graduation, we provide you with “Your Step-by-Step Licensing Guide,” which includes detailed instructions for getting licensed in NJ, PA and/or NY with links to all necessary websites and forms. Our instructors are available to review your score report if you have any difficulties with the State Exam.

Guidance in finding the right brokerage company for YOU: Some brokerage companies charge thousands of dollars in fees every year, whether or not you ever earn a dime – but many do not. Understanding commission splits, start-up costs and desk fees upfront can save you thousands of dollars every year, for many years to come. As an independent school, we can help you make an informed decision before you sign a contract.

Access to Recruiting Events with leading brokerage companies: We are not owned by or affiliated with any one real estate brokerage company or franchise. We work equally with many different real estate companies that are eager to hire our graduates. We offer numerous (no obligation) Recruiting Events every month to help you connect with different brokers, so you find your best match and maximize your income for years to come.

*Once you successfully complete your New Jersey Real Estate Licensing Course at The Real Estate School, you will have met the educational requirement to sit for the New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam.

Please note that the New Jersey course does not cover Pennsylvania-specific real estate license law. The NJ Course includes 21 units of material in total; 2 of those units cover NJ license law. We do not cover PA license law in the NJ course. You will need to review that material on your own prior to testing for the Pennsylvania license. If you wish to purchase the Dearborn Pennsylvania textbook ($39 plus shipping), there are 3 units you’ll need to review to learn the Pennsylvania-specific real estate license law.

If you currently hold an active PA Sales License, click here to learn about our 15 Hour Supplemental Course which qualifies PA Agents to sit for the NJ State Exam.
